3 in 3

Well, the word is out, The Balvin's will be going from 4 to 5 in 2006! Cool, 4,5,6. Anyway, Balvin #3 is due August 30th, 2006. The same day that Jake my oldest was due. To be honest, this has been a difficult reality to face. I mean it will be a 3 year old, 2 year old, and a newbie all in this house. I am sure many of you might be thinking we are insane, but as it was with the other two, this was a little surprise from God!

I am slowly coming to grips with this surprise, and I know I will rejoice when the little blessing arrives, but for now, you all can be praying for peace, joy, and understanding. Also, please pray for a van or something larger. I don't think the Honda Civic can handle us all.

The ultrasound was taken in January at about 6 weeks along. Truly amazing that the baby was less than a 1/2 an inch and we saw this tiny heart beating. God is so amazing, and children are blessings.

  1. CONGRATULATIONS! If you wait just one extra day, I can celebrate a birthday with the littlest one!! : ) Well when I can finally get out to the store and buy diapers (I can't believe I just said that as if I were excited about it!) I will every once in awhile see if the budget can afford an additional package for the Balvin's!!

  2. FINALLY! I thought I was going to pop keeping this one quiet...I was just thinking how everyone says that there aren't 2 alike just take a moment and think of this wee one being totally different from Jake and Izzy...Oh how exciting! Would you begin to tell the wee one that he/she has a grammy in Michigan who loves them sooooo much already...

  4. Your not the only one who struggles with just the shock of the little surprise. Don't feel guilty. You know how nuts it's going to be. Usually it's the anticipation of the crazyness is actually worse than the crazyness. (yeah, I watched Oprah one day while I was in SF) I'll be praying for you. Your a good parent and have a good husband...well when he's not picking on me. ;) CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
