My children are so great! Isabelle is so stubborn and fiery about what she wants. I see so much of myself in her, it's scary. But then in a moment she looks at you and roars like a lion, and you have to laugh and hug her. She smiles and wraps her tiny arms around my neck, not knowing how to speak the words "I Love You, Mommy", but she really knows how to show it! She is a true treasure and I pray everyday that God forms and shapes her into a strong, faithbased women, and does not back down to Satan or anyone who tries to harm her.
Jake, I could say so much about Jake. He is funny, smart, sensitive, caring, and so very loving. If I cry he hugs and asks if I am ok. If his sister falls, he makes sure she is ok, and kisses whatever spot was hurt. He longs to be with his daddy every moment of every day. He loves his friends and prays for them. He talks of his Nana's and Papa's and wanting to play with them too. He obsesses over horses and juice and gum. He makes sure to hold his sister accountable for things she should not do like be on the table. Then in a still moment he walks up to you and says "I love you, Mommy" My heart melts and I thank Jesus for the bright spots in my life. I pray that Jacob will be a God fearing leader of men. I pray that he will be a loving and faithful husband that he will always put others before himself and know that Jesus is his provider.
As for baby #3 who knows what awesome and special gifts the Lord will give this child. I just pray that I will not screw them up too much, and I will always point them back to Jesus. In the storms and joys of life.
