His hero!

I was scanning through some pictures on the computer looking to see how the kids have changed and grown. I came across this one which was taken only a couple weeks ago, I totally forgot that I had taken it (My mind is mush these days)!

This is so precious and it says everything Jacob would say if he knew how to articulate how much he loves his daddy! He walks in his shadow; when he is home, and constantly thinks, and talks about his dad when he is gone.

We have really learned lately how important a father's role is in his child's life is, especially a boy's. Brenton is a WONDERFUL dad, and I know each day he tries to be a better example and leader to his son. I can't wait to look through the pictures in 20+ years and remember how adorable this father-son relationship is!
