Brenton had the day off on Tuesday so we made it a family day and headed to the Como Zoo. I love that zoo! You get to get really close to the animals, and they have the animals that I really want to see. Jacob was SOOOOOO excited! I don't think I have seen him that excited about anything ever! He ran from animal to animal trying to imitate them, talking to them, and being very excited. Isabelle didn't share in the excitment as much. She would yell "hi" to all the animals, but stayed in the stroller eating snacks and drinking water- pretty typical :) If you ask Jake about the zoo ask him about the monkey's he was super excited about them, and for the demonstration the gorilla gave us!
We finished the day off with a train ride. Como Zoo is the best! Plus it's FREE- who doesn't love free entertainment. Thanks family for a fun day- I had a blast with all of you!

ReplyDeleteHey, Steph - this is Michelle Hanson - Kris told me about Carrie's blog and then I checked out yours and thought I would respond to this. If you ever have a chance to visit Como Zoo this summer, Angela will be there on MOnday's and Friday's volunteering at a Nature Walk Cart somewhere on the Zoo Grounds. SHe will be demonstrating snakes, hedgehogs or any other little critter. She will be there during the mid morning and mid afternoon hours. Stop by sometime if you guys can. These blogs are fun!
