Could've been worse

So this morning I went to get an oil change on the van before we head out of town. I hate going because every time I do, the mechanics find something that I should get fixed and cost more money. So this morning they said my oil change was done, but I should really think about getting new back tires because the ones we have our worn bald. I was frustrated that this was happening, but the man was very kind. He asked if I wanted to see them, so I did, and praise the Lord, the tires were splitting apart, and had metal coming through them. He was suprised that they did not split already or could hold any air. I told him we were getting ready to go on a road trip, and he said we would not have made it very far with the tires in that condition.

So, it was an unexpected expense, but the Lord was watching out for us, because it could have been really expensive and dangerous to have them blow out on the highway. Thanks God for watching over us ALWAYS!
