Has anyone ever seen the cartoon called Boohbah? It's the weirdest show EVER. The kids were watching it this morning, and I was so confused about what it is about. There are these weird colorful alien looking things bouncing around. Then they have a time where a child will be standing in this phsycodelic circle moving an arm around. Finally there is the large, bald man that is doing weird things. It makes NO sense. Does anyone know what I am talking about? What is this weird cartoon? What's the point? What happened to the fun cartoons that I used to watch like Smurfs, Heathcliff, Garfield? You can check out the Boohbah's on PBS or the Lakeland channel at 10 am (channel 22 in Monticello)

ReplyDeleteMy kids will never watch that kind of freaky stuff. Stuff like that weirds me out - makes you wonder about the new-age, cultic people who are behind the scenes creating this "children's entertainment." Not my kids.
ReplyDeleteMy kids love the show. The show is about 5 atoms that are excited by childrens laughter. This is literally the only show that my kids have watched on TV (other than American Idol) that they get up, Jump around, Dance and participate.
ReplyDeleteI honestly think that no matter how weird the show is, that if my kids respond this way...it's a show I'll let my kids watch.
