The milking of a Cow from the mind of a 2 year old

This is the conversation that happened in the car last night at 9:45pm. We were passing a cow truck on the highway.



"Ew mom, cows smell like poop."

"Mom, what do cows eat?"

"They eat grass."

"We get milk from cows, right mom?"

"Yes, and we get lots of things from cows like hamburger."

"No, you're silly, we get milk."

"Mom, does it hurt when we pull on the cows pee pee to get the milk?"

I had to stop and laugh. I didn't actually explain that they were called utters. I was just too shocked to know that he knew how to get the milk from the cow. I had no idea Jacob knew that you pull on the utters to get milk. How funny is it that he thinks that they are called pee pee's.?

I love 2 year olds.
