Acne attack
Andrew has really bad acne on his face. I am not quite sure how to deal with it since my other two children never had it. Has any of you ever dealt with this. Does it go away quickly? I know it's not hurting him, but it's not very cute!
As an RN in the Family Birthing Center, I was educated to tell our families not to do anything to it-not to pick or touch it. It is his body's way of releasing hormones. It is normal and it will eventually clear up.
Yes, Adelyn had baby acne too. It showed up after she was a few weeks old and probably lasted 2-3 weeks. It cleared up on its own so I wouldn't worry about it :) Adelyn says he's still a hunk.
Stephanie I just had a little boy myself who is now 3 months old. He had bumps which appered to look like acne also. I took him in... it is just new born rash it will go away in a cuple of weeks. There is really nothing that you can do about it. I did though not wash his face so much with as strong of soap and put little dabs of johnson baby lotion on his cheeks. This will keep it from totally drying out.
