"Don't leave!"

Anyone who has been to our house in the last 2 weeks has heard this phrase spoken loudly in a high pitch voice, "Don't leave". Isabelle's newest way to have a meltdown. We thought it was cute for the first week, we would even ag her on by saying "bye Isabelle". She would plea with us not leave and wrap her precious little arms around us and melt our hearts. Well it's week 2 of this and it seems to be getting louder, and higher pitched, and she seems almost paranoid about anyone leaving. When Brenton is home he can't walk upstairs without her having a "don't leave" attack. Tonight, I was trying to make dinner and I wanted the kids to play upstairs or at least out of the kitchen, and she had a complete melt down. She was sure I was leaving, and I had to stop and sit with her for a while and reassure her I was not leaving.

I guess it's nice to be loved and wanted around, and I am sure in a month she will be telling me to leave, so I should embrace this current phase she is in.
