Busy Day

It's been a busy day. My great friend from when I was a kid was visiting MN this week. She currently lives in Michigan, but we are praying that she moves back to MN soon. We met at the Como Zoo in St. Paul. We love this place, I think I have mentioned that before. It was insanely packed with schools on their last field trips, parents keeping kids entertained, and so many many many other people. Needless to say, it was a little high stress keeping an eye on all 5 kids. After chasing them around for an hour or so, we packed up and headed to the beach for a picnic and some fun in the sun. All five kids had a blast digging in , playing with and eating sand. The water was pretty chilly, but that didn't stop anyone. They were having a blast. On the way home we stopped to see Brenton at work and have an ice cream treat! We are home now, trying to unwind... I guess I am trying to unwind, not really "we".
