Jacob's Bedtime Prayer

Last night Jacob touched my heart at bedtime. After flexing my parental muscle and forcing him to pray before bed he prayed his standard Boz the Bear prayer. Then he decided to freestyle for a bit thanking God for random things. The first thing he said was the best. Tenderly he prayed, "Thank you God that Daddy didn't have to go to work so I could be with him longer." It was incredibly heartfelt and sweet. He finished by thanking God for our trip to MI at the end of July. Like I said, random but beautiful.
