It's good to be home, but I find myself thinking about all the great things we were able to do while were gone. Here is my highlights list:
*Relax and swim in a beautiful pool
* Indulge at the South Bend Chocolate Factory
* Eat, Eat, and Eat some more- everything DELICIOUS
* Play at the beach right on Lake Michigan
*Pedicures (Michelle and I)
* Stay up late talking
* Picking fresh fruit and veggies from the garden
* Hang out at the Midway Airport (Michelle and I)- ok, not really a highlight, but it was quality time with my dear friend
* Curious Kids Museum
* Eating at the Cracker Barrel
* The fish fry
* Tigers vs. Twins Baseball game- so many great things about this- many FREE things
* Hanging out with Shannon (childhood friend)
* Experiencing God's grace with some MI state police :)
* Laughing, crying, singing, talking, and playing with Brenton and the kids in the car
* Just being with those I love and getting away.
Did I mention all the food we ate...oh boy!
THANK you to Dan & Michelle for a WONDERFUL time at their home. We really had a great time. And thanks to Jason & Shannon for also a GREAT time. We look forward to the next time, and hope and pray it comes before a year from now! Love you all!
