A couple of long days and one long night in the Balvin household. I was down and out yesterday morning with some severe stomach pain (non- nervous poops related). Then, last night Andrew woke up early throwing up in his crib. Stephanie spent half the night awake with him while I laid in bed, unable to move because of a throbbing caffeine headache and a horrific mix of Fergie and Maroon 5 running through my head.
Andrew was burning up all day and basically spent his time somewhere between crying and sleeping. Stephanie interviewed at Bethel today and then came home Andrew with a temperature of 104. We took him to the doctor and everything seems to be OK. The worst part of the visit was when I had to help facilitate the administration of a catheter so the doctors could get a urine sample. Thankfully my mom could come up and spend some time with us tonight while Stephanie went to a Tupperware party.
Lord I hope we get some rest tonight. I have to work 12 hours tomorrow, so if anyone wants to bring Stephanie and the kids some Taco John's that would be great!
