Lately, I have felt as if I am trying to find the right path to go down when it comes to our family, career, and life. With all paths pointing to positives and negatives it becomes overwhelming of which way I should go. I received a job offer today from Target (not associated with Brenton) and I have chosen to decline on the offer. As I wrote previously, I want everything from all life choices and I am needing to really channel in to what God's plan is for my life. It sometimes feels like all the paths are right to go down, and some times it is obvious that only one path is right. I am joyful about the journey we are on, but I wish I had flashing neon lights telling exactly what to do. Have you ever had these conflicting thoughts?

Following God's path

Stephanie,
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you want to get back into teaching, but the King CDC lost one of it's teacher so they are probably hiring - and it would get you the bethel discount for daycare....just a thought. :)

There are not enought arrows on that sign Steph. There should be about 10 more. I do know how you feel.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely know how you feel. Sometimes if you aren't sure if it is the right path, you have to choose to either start walking down it and find out if it is the right path or you just stay on the path you are on until God gives you clear direction.
ReplyDeleteI think that we have all felt the way that you feel! If we say we haven't, I would think that we are most likely lying. I know that I have felt this way so much in my journey with God (I've known Christ as my personal Lord & Savior since I was 13) that I completely empathize with you.
Neon signs would be great, but that would eliminate the need to rely on the Holy Spirit! :-)
