I need a sewing machine. I have a list of things that have torn, ripped, need to be hemmed or patched and so on. I haven't sewn anything since 7th grade home-ec class, but I am confident I could figure it out again. Does anyone have any tips on buying sewing machines? I was thinking of looking on Craigs list, but I don't know much about them.
