This is my favorite time of the year- GARAGE SEASON!!!! I love finding little treasures and deals. Today was my first day out. We typically like to go on Thursday mornings. I get a fountain pop, the kids get a dounut and we cruise through Monticello looking for the signs on the corners pointing us in the direction we should go. Well this morning I came across a little treasure for Jacob. He loves the movies Toy Story. He especially loves Woody (the cowboy) and Buzz Lightyear (space man). I was about to leave the sale with minimal purchases and there they were staring at me. A Woody and Buzz costume the perfect size for Jake. I only bought the Woody costume because the Buzz one was looking pretty beat up, I am regretting it now- I might venture back to get it, and try to wash it up. It was only $1.00.
Well, he will be completely entertained for today at least with his new treasure. If any of you love garage sales, let me know if you find a good one. Get this- next weekend is the CITY WIDE sale- YiKES!

ReplyDeleteI went to some sales in Monti today too! Too bad we didn't run into each other. We'll have to plan a Thurs. where we gather the kids and go together...if we can all fit into one vehicle!! :)
