A Flower 'Pot'

Our downstairs toliet was having serious malfunctions for a while, we finally took it out and brought the upstairs one to the downstairs bathroom to see if that would work. It did, so we didn't have a place for our old toliet to go. If anyone knows what to do with a broken toliet please let me know. So, we made the pot a 'flower pot'. It's more to annoy our dear friend and neighbor Amy, but now it's actually growing on us!

But living in an association is such a treat(hint of sarcasim). We have some not so friendly neighbors that have a hard time relaxing and enjoying life. They called and complained about the toilet in our flower area to our association managers. The mangers laughed and thought it was funny. This did not make the neighbor happy. She continued to complain to others in our neighborhood, and she got the same reaction, they all thought it was funny!

So, Brenton will be removing the toilet later today. We were only keeping it there as a joke, but some people can't handle a joke. It's sad really- there are MUCH more serious things to worry about in this world. We were not hurting anyone or anything.

  1. Keep it there one more day just to make our friendly neighbor happy.

  3. I always wanted to be from the south. Maybe that's one reason I love you so much! Didn't you recommend that I feed the baby Moutain Dew in a bottle! Just kidding

  6. I can relate with the cranky neighbors. One evening Jon and I were walking Murphy in a neighborhood close to ours for the second time that week. (we were walking on the STREET mind you as there were no side walks). A nice looking man walked out of his driveway towards us so of course we smiled thinking he was going to greet us. Instead he told us 'maybe we were new in the neighborhood but people in that neighborhood don't like dogs much so be careful not to let him on their lawn or they will call the cops'. I was stunned of course and VERY thankful we were not new in that neighborhood or we would be moving pretty quickly. Obviously it still bothers me. People really have more important things to worry about! I say keep the pretty flower pots as long as it makes you happy :)
