I came across this site today when I was looking something up about Andrew. Maybe someone can help. Andrew has a lump in between his ribs. I know it's not his ribs because I can feel them. It's about the size of a pea or a little larger. I was trying to figure it out without taking him to the Dr., but I didn't find anything. However, I thought this was a great site for parents, or someone that's pregnant.

Kids Health looks like a good site.
ReplyDeleteThanks -
I pray that the 'lump' is nothing more than a minor issue that is no big deal.
My little nephew currently has a hernia on his tummy - could it be that, I wonder? I guess they are pretty common and will generally go away by themselves.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to say what the lump is, as your post does not give many details about the lump (e.g. is it painful, hard/soft, on the chest or the back, nearer the left/right side of the body or nearer the midline, is it growing in size, has it been there since birth?).
ReplyDeleteIt's unlikely to be a hernia since hernias don't occur between the ribs. It may be good to bring Andrew to the doctor just to get the lump checked out.. if nothing more, for reassurance that it's nothing major =)
