The day has come and gone so quickly like it always does. Our family spent the day hanging with my parents and brother's family. It was nice time, some cooking with my mom, watching football, doing some chores to help my parents, lots of eating, and of course a family walk.
Thanksgivings have changed since I've had kids. It used to be about laying around relaxing and taking naps. Now it's about keeping the kids out of grandma's breakables and from harassing the dog and trying to keep them happy since they are thrown off of their daily routine. I was telling Brenton on the way home that holidays are exhausting with kids. I feel as if when the kids get around a lot of people they morph into these hyped up sugar monsters that are going non stop, talk sassy and sometimes seem out of control. I feel bad because I wish people could see and experience the sweet, funny, cuddly, and mostly obedient children that I deal with on a regular basis.
Well, another year gone. Our family has so much to be thankful this year. Too much to take the time right now and report, but God has been extremely faithful to us, we are all healthy, and we are continuing to allow God to grow, teach, and change us, and for that I say THANK YOU!
