Simple pleasures

We all have those days when we need some simple pleasures. I am openly admitting that I have several simple pleaures that get me through the days and weeks. It doesn't take much to turn my mood around, below are a couple of those things. My husband knows that if comes home one of these treats, he is my hero for the day! I know I could do without some or all of these, but for now, these are few of my favorite things!

Peanutbutter Twix- oh boy- if you haven't tried it, you MUST! I love these!

Come on, we all have our sinful pleasures too! It could be worse!

I have a small addiction to Diet Coke fountain pop from Superamerica. Ok, maybe it's not a small addiction

Somedays are brighter than others and when I have Taco John's it's been a really good day reguardless of the daily bumps. And who can pass up Taco Tuesday- hardshells for 59 cents!

Every and any thing I ever need can be found at Target- March11th coming to Monticello!!!

I admit, I love eating out! It's probably one of my favorite things to do with friends. But Godfather's pizza is so delious! The taco pizza can't be beat!

Movies are a fun activity. I don't remember the last "non cartoon" movie that I have seen, but I do love going no matter what movie it is (except scary), plus who can pass up movie theater popcorn?

YUMMY! Refreshing- need I say more!
(Don't be confused I love Diet Coke fountain, and Diet Pepsi cans)

The David Crowder Band is probably my favorite Christian music to play loudly! I love singing, dancing and praising with this group!

I have become rather fond of Beth Moore's biblical teachings. She is so smart, biblically accurate, and hilarious in her preaching. Ladies, you've got to check her out.

I know we all have them, what are your simple pleasure!

  1. Peanut butter M-n-M's are the best! (Not to be confused with Peanut M-n-M's, which I think are nasty.) Mr. Pibb... the Amoco in Maple Lake usually has a buy one get one free deal. I love finding a sweet garage sale and I also love looking at my grocery receipts to see how much I saved with coupons! Hearing a song I love on the radio (why is it so much better than if you put that same CD in?) Getting a foot massage... only from my husband and only with socks on :) Getting my back scratched. The luxury of a nap. Man, my list could go on and on!

  2. Margaret, I could totally add some of those pleasures as well. A good garage sale can get through the week!
