I think this should have been an episode on Mr Rogers. I always loved to watch those episodes when you would see how crayons or batteries or something else was made. Tonight I was making the kids a gourmet meal of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. As I was pouring the noodles in the water, I was thinking, "How in the world do they make the noodles into the fun character shapes?" I mean really, they are so detailed and look so much like the actual characters. Is it a mold or something? It's fascinating, don't you think, maybe not, maybe I am just tired.
I loved th "this is how we make it" segment on Mr. Rogers. Loved the whole thing actually. He's my hero. Ii actually have a book called "The Mister Rogers Parenting Book". :)
ReplyDeleteI think I need to borrow that book.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Picture Picture.
ReplyDeleteHere is a link to some of the Picture Picture videos.
No macaroni, but crayons and construction paper which I still remember watching.

There is a show on the Discovery Channel called "How It's Made." Last night Dustin and I watched one where they showed how they make trumpets by hand. I actually said to Dustin "This is just like Mr. Rogers!"
