Single parent homes


Why do almost all Disney character's have only one parent? And it's usually only the dad?

    Hi,
    I came over from Ainsley’s blog and just had to comment on this post.
    I’ve seen that for awhile and I’m waiting till my girls pick up on it too. Also it seems that the newer Disney heroines are a bit more rebellious than Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty. We have to be careful now how much the girls watch The Little Mermaid and even Finding Nemo (because of the “I hate you” line)…kids pick up on everything! Have you also noticed that practically ALL Disney villains are women? I wonder why…
