I've been following this story of Abigail Taylor since I heard of the tragedy she faced, and last night they gave an update on how the family is doing since they lost their six year old daughter after her small intestines were ripped from her body from a faulty drain cover at public swimming pool. Watch the update- her story is amazing and they are a great family.
I admit, when I took my kids to the outdoor pool this summer, I checked the drain covers first to see if it was ok for them to be there. It's so scary what happened to her and completely preventable.
