The people next door

We have experienced both good neighbors and bad neighbors at both of our places we've lived since we got married. It's amazing the difference it makes when you know you have neighbors you love and trust. It's also amazing how miserable junky/ crabby neighbors can make you feel and bring out the worst in you. I love all of our neighbors in Northfield. It's comfroting to know that there is someone always around to help you out with an egg for the brownies, a little sour cream for your tacos, or an emergency babysitting drop off. It's good to know that someone is watching out for your house while you are gone, or observing your babysitter to make sure they are doing the job they know you would want them to do.

As we enter into the week of Thanksgiving, I want to start the week by expressing how thankful I am for a few of our past neighbors and now our current neighbors. Thanks for food, laughter, a watchful eye, and for your friendships- we really are blessed by all of you.

  1. So, which type of neighbor were we?

  2. Defineately the good ones (most of the time) Just kidding! ALL the time!!! :)
