The miracle drug!

Well, thank you Lord for great insurance through the church, and for leading someone to think that mold might be good medicine! Here is an update on Isabelle... After fighting a 104 temperature for 3 days I finally took her into the Dr. She is now experiencing her first dose of Amoxacillan (spelling???) as she has be diagnosed with an ear infection. WOW- I love that stuff. I can't exclude the Tylenol either. We have been keeping them in business the last couple of days. Isabelle has only had one dose of the meds, and is a completely different child. I actually have my arms back to do something(like blog).

Being a parent is the toughest job in the world, and the pay and benefits is horrible, but I wouldn't trade it for anything! Thanks Jake and Izzy for being wonderful children and bringing joy and happiness to each day of my life! I love you both!

  1. I'm new to this high tech stuff. I hope you keep my Grandbabies healthy because I'll be doing my super Nana duties soon.

  2. Jaclyn had the same thing but a 103 temp for 4 days. After a trip to urgent care (suggestion of nurseline) and a crabby, non sleeping girl all weekend, she also was diagnosed with an ear infection yesterday. Still waiting for those meds to kick in though. Aren't they so much fun! I was able to enjoy a real smile from her for the first time in over a week! We should have put them together.

  3. Oh man Janelle, I am with you girl! Izzy still didn't sleep last night, so I am praying that tonight she will. She still has a slight fever too. Jake had 5 ear infections by the time he was Izzy's age, so I am doing good with her. Let me know if you need anything!
