Today was a bright moment for a mom who is a former teacher. On our way to church this morning to practice for the upcoming KidsStuf program that my husband did an awesome job preparing for, Jake starting singing the ABC song. He has done this before but he never makes it all the way through the song without forgetting or getting distracted by something. But today he sang the whole song and the ending too. It brought tears to my eyes. He is getting bigger, older, smarter, and so precious. I didn't know if he would do it again, but he did for his daddy later.
It's so awesome to see Jacob learn what we practice everyday. It makes a parent feel like they are really teaching something and making a difference in their child's life.
Way to go Jake, I am so proud of you!
Oh yeah, one other cute Jacob comment today. At church I was wearing a head piece microphone. Jacob came up to me and pointed at the microphone and asked, "Mommy, are you talking to Jesus?" He is so CUTE!!!!
Jacob is the man! Love that little guy!
