Uploading 2008

We did not print one picture in 2008, so I have been spending the day uploading month by month pictures I want to print from 2008. I can only do 12 at a time at Snapfish, so it's taking FOREVER! It's a way for me to stay focused on my laundry and things because I will upload some, wait and go clean near by while Snapfish loads them, and then come back to the computer and do it again and again and again. I think I started this morning at 10:00am, I am in the month of July, so I have plenty to go. It's fun looking at the photos from the past year and amazing how the kids have changed in the short time. However, this is a real pain in my side to have to do the whole year at once.

Are you good at printing digital pictures? Do you have an easier (faster) way of doing it?

  2. For easier, you could put them on a flash drive and take them to Target. Also, you can send them to Target online and pick them up at the store. We did this and got a coupon for 10 free prints. We then printed 10 for free and got another coupon for 10 free prints. I don't know if this is still the case but we printed 30 some pictures for free.

  3. Start using flickr. You can upload as many pictures as you want at the same time. Then when you want to print them you just click on the picture, select the size you want and flickr e-mails them to Target to be printed. (or you can have them sent to your house).

  5. Why can you only upload 12 at a time? I use shutterfly and I've done more than 150 at a time. It might take an hour but I start it and then go do other things until it's done. Here's a tip that I do... I make sure to upload pics a few times a month. I usually put them in different 'albums' like "playing baseball" or "birthday party", etc. It makes it easier to find pictures if you end up looking for a certain one. I also try to order once a month so I don't have a huge amount backed up. It also makes it easier to sort them when they come in the mail. Also, I don't know if they've changed but Target used to only print glossy pictures, no matte. I'm a matte only person but I don't know if you have a preference.

  6. Picasa is the way to go. It is an awesome program. Just google Picasa then download it. You can upload pictures very easily to many different places.
